At Florida Intervention we offer a wide, but specialized range of crisis and substance abuse interventions. Our approach changes whether it be an adult, teenager, business person, older adult, and so on, however each intervention is customized to an even greater extent based on each individual. Once the initial phone call has been placed with one of ourintervention intake staff, a specialist will call back and speak directly with the family and other loved ones involved. During this time the specialist will ask a variety of questions aimed to create the most successful possible intervention. Interventions are very delicate procedures and for that reason only one specialist will work with the family throughout the entire intervention, from start to finish. Even after the intervention is completed, our staff work with families to provide transport to and from treatment and also stay connected with the family during the individual’s course of recovery. By providing a go-between for the family and the individual it strengthens trust and understanding between the two parties. In addition, it allows the now sober individual the opportunity to create a strong foundation and link to recovery.
